What time are the Masses on the weekend?

Mass times are Saturday Vigil at 5:00 p.m. and Sunday at 7:30, 9:30 and 11:15 a.m.

What time are daily Masses?

Daily Masses are in the Chapel Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at 8:00 a.m., as well as Tuesday at 6:00 p.m.

Are there Saturday morning Masses?

Mass is celebrated on the first Saturday of the month at 8:00 a.m. in the Chapel.

What are the Mass times for Holy Days of Obligation?

Mass is celebrated on the Vigil at 5:15 p.m. and then on the Holy Day at 7:00 a.m., 8:30 a.m., 12:10 and 7:00 p.m.

These times may change due to the day of the week that the Holy Day falls on.

When are Baptisms celebrated?

Baptisms are performed on the third Sunday of the month after the 11:15 a.m. Mass. Baptism preparation class is held on Thursday before the third Sunday at 7:00 p.m. in the Bornemann Room. Call the Rectory to schedule the Baptism.

When is the Parish Office open?

The Parish Office is open Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. and Fridays, 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

From Memorial Day to Labor Day, our summer hours are in effect: The Parish Office is open Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. and Friday’s, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon.

How do I register/ become a parishioner at Sacred Heart?

Call the Parish Office to schedule an appointment with our Church Secretary.

When is the Sacrement of Penance offered?

Penance is offered Saturday Afternoon, 4:00 p.m. – 4:45 p.m., or by appointment.

What do I need to do if I am moving or changing parishes?

Call the Rectory and let the staff know that you are moving or leaving the parish. This allows the Parish to maintain correct information.

How do I become a Volunteer?

To volunteer in the Parish, we do require a full background check to be completed.

 

Fingerprints – all volunteers will need a code from our office (to receive the clearance free of charge.)

  • Enter your zip code and click “go”
  • Click which center location you’d like to attend
  • Click “schedule appointment”
  • Click “digital fingerprinting.”
  • ENTER CODE Volunteer DHS
  • Click Schedule or manage appointment
  • Complete all information
  • Use the unique 17-digit code given to you from the parish office

Many agencies have “walk in” appointments rather than schedule a time – you have that option on the last page.

 

Protecting God’s Children Workshop

All trainings are conducted online and can be found at www.virtusonline.org. Directions on how to sign up for a training can be found HERE.

 

Mandated Reporter

Anyone who volunteers with children must complete this training. A certificate will be made available to you at the end of training. Please print the certificate and send to the school office.

The Diocese of Allentown has approved certain Mandated Reporter training programs other than the one listed above.
