Students in grades 5 and up who have received their first Holy Communion are invited to be altar servers. They are trained annually. The Altar Servers form a very important part of the church and every parish is enriched through their dedication and service. The primary role of the altar server is to assist the priest or deacon in the celebration of the liturgies on weekdays, weekends, funerals, and weddings. Your presence assists in and enhances the nobility and beauty of our celebrations. Being an altar server promotes a closer relationship with the ever-present Body of Christ in the lives of those who serve. It is a commitment and an honor.
Cantors lead the congregation in song at Mass and other liturgies. Training is provided.
A special liturgy for children is held in the Chapel during the 9:30 a.m. Mass on Sundays from September through May. The liturgy of the Word is suitably adapted to make it relevant to the lives and experiences of young children. The children are encouraged to discuss the Gospel message and participate in the program with the presiding priest/deacon/parent volunteer.
This choir sings at the 11:15 a.m. Mass on Sundays from September through May and at special parish celebrations.
This contemporary music ministry provides the accompaniment for 9:30 a.m. Mass every Sunday. Rehearsals are held on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in the choir loft from September through May.
