Altar Servers

Students in grades 5 and up who have received their first Holy Communion are invited to be altar servers. They are trained annually. The Altar Servers form a very important part of the church and every parish is enriched through their dedication and service. The primary role of the altar server is to assist the priest or deacon in the celebration of the liturgies on weekdays, weekends, funerals, and weddings.

Your presence assists in and enhances the nobility and beauty of our celebrations. Being an altar server promotes a closer relationship with the ever-present Body of Christ in the lives of those who serve. It is a commitment and an honor.
